Q: What High School do you attend?
Q. Please tell us about your current plans after high school and what inspired you to choose this path?
A. My plans after school are to attend Georgia Southern in the fall to get a teaching degree. I was inspired to follow this path by several of my teachers.
Q. Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A. My family is my biggest supporter, I love my mom and dad more than anything.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
A: A world war 2 veterans that came and spoke to us.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: I would go to any beach just because I love the warm weather and the smell of the salty ocean.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: At the moment it would be Outer Banks or Too Hot to Handle.
Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?
A: Mrs. Rodriguez told me that I need to focus on what I want and forget about the unimportant stuff.
Q: What is your go-to band/singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?
A: Any country music.
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: Luke Bryan since I’m a big fan and we would go to Logan’s.
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: I love how we have the Masters and people travel from everywhere just to come here.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: Graduating from college and becoming a teacher.
Q: What show are you binge-watching right now?
A: Outer Banks.
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and the best single day on the calendar?
A: Favorite month is July because the weather is warm and you can swim. Favorite holiday would be Christmas because I love all the decorations, seeing old friends and family and it’s Jesus’s birthday.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: My mom.
Q: If you could go back over your entire school career, what is one thing you would do differently?
A: I would not procrastinate as much and I would just work ten times harder in my classes.
Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?
A: I miss my school friends.
Q: What life lessons have you learned through this quarantine experience?
A: Not to take the small things for granted, like being with friends or shopping.
